Can parents or non-players watch the games?

Yes. While spectators are not permitted on the active game zones for safety reasons, we provide comfortable facilities for those not playing.

  • Base Camp Facilities: Our base camp features sheltered seating areas where parents and friends can relax throughout the day.
  • Meeting Players: Spectators can easily meet with players during scheduled breaks to catch up on the action.
  • Safety First: For the protection of all guests, non-players must remain within the designated base camp areas and are not authorised to enter the field of play.
  • Amenities: The base camp is designed to keep you comfortable and close to the excitement while maintaining a safe distance from the game.

Can we bring alcohol to the centre?

No. Epic Paintball Events operates a strict zero-alcohol policy across all centres to maintain our 5-star safety record.

  • Safety & Insurance: Alcohol is strictly prohibited in both the base camp and game zones. Insurance requirements dictate that all players must remain fully alert and unimpaired.
  • Entry Requirements: Any player found under the influence, or attempting to bring alcohol onto the premises, will be excluded from the event without a refund.
  • Celebrations: We ask that all alcoholic celebrations be saved for after you have left the venue.

Can we eat lunch at the centre?

Yes, you are more than welcome to eat at our centres.
To ensure your group stays mission-ready and energised, we provide the following facilities and guidelines:

  • Bring Your Own Rations: We highly encourage players to bring their own packed lunches and plenty of fluids. Staying hydrated is the tactical key to a great day on the field!
  • Lunch Timing & Strategy: To maximise your time on the game zones, we recommend that players save their main meals for after their paintball session. There are short refreshment breaks between games for quick snacks and water to keep you moving.
  • Sheltered Base Camp (Safe Zone): Every centre features a large, sheltered base camp with picnic seating. This is your designated safe zone where parents, friends, and players can relax and enjoy their food during or after game sessions.
  • On-Site Recon (Snacks & Drinks): Our on-site shops stock a selection of cold drinks, chocolates, and light snacks should you need a quick energy boost between missions.
  • Important Catering Note: Please note that we do not offer on-site catering (such as hot meals), pizza lunches, or food delivery services. Please come prepared with your own food supplies.
  • Celebrating a Birthday? You are more than welcome to bring a birthday cake to the base camp to celebrate with your group after the games are done!

Does paintball still go ahead if it is raining?

Yes. Paintball is a premier all-weather activity, and our centres are fully equipped to ensure your group has a world-class experience regardless of the conditions.

  • All-Weather Facilities: Every centre features large, sheltered base camp areas to keep your group dry and comfortable between missions.
  • Secure Storage: We provide on-site lockers at all locations to ensure your valuables and dry clothes remain protected while you are on the field.
  • Weather & Cancellation Policy: In the unlikely event that a session cannot proceed due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or “Force Majeure Events” (circumstances beyond reasonable human control), Epic Paintball Events reserves the right to issue a full-value credit for the booking instead of a refund.
  • Credit Flexibility: This credit is valid for a future booking date at any of our available locations and is fully transferable to another person.

Pro Tip: British weather can be unpredictable! We highly recommend bringing a towel and a spare change of clothes to leave in your vehicle for a comfortable journey home. For any weather enquiries, call us on 0203 989 5996.

What should I wear and bring for paintball?

To ensure your group is fully prepared for an action-packed day, please follow our recommendations for clothing, gear, and essentials:

  • Footwear: We strongly recommend walking boots with ankle support and deep tread rubber soles, especially during muddy winter months. While some choose wellingtons for water protection, they lack ankle support. Sandals and open-toed shoes are strictly prohibited.
  • Clothing: Wear old, comfortable clothing (like tracksuits or leggings) under the combat suits we provide. We highly recommend bringing a towel and a full change of clothes to leave in your vehicle for the journey home.
  • Personal Belongings: Secure lockers are available for hire on-site to store your valuables and dry clothes while you are out in the game zones.
  • Hand Protection: Your hands are sensitive areas; you are welcome to bring your own gloves or purchase armoured gloves from our on-site shop.
  • Food & Hydration: As we do not offer pizza lunches or onsite catering, please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. Refreshments and snacks are available for purchase at the shop.
  • Payment Methods: We accept cash and PIN-verified cards. Please note that card transactions may incur a small fee, so bringing cash for extra paintballs or snacks is recommended.

Pro Tip: During the summer or warmer months, freezing a few bottles of water the night before is a great way to ensure your group has ice-cold drinks available throughout your session!
