What happens to prepayments and paintballs if a player does not turn up?

We understand that plans can change at the last minute. While all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, we aim to ensure you do not lose out:

  • Credit Place for Future Use: If a player is unable to attend on the day, their payment value can be carried forward as a credit place on your booking profile. This credit can be applied toward a future mission at any of our national centres.
  • Paintball Allocations: Please note that any paintball allocations or equipment included in the package for a “no-show” player are forfeited on the day. These cannot be transferred to or shared among other players in your group; however, any paintballs included in that player’s package will be carried over with the credit place and held on your profile for future use.
  • Notification: If you know in advance that your group size has changed, please contact our booking office as soon as possible so we can update your profile.

Pro-Tip: For the fastest service regarding player changes, have your booking ID and the tracking number on your paintball tickets ready and call us at 0203 989 5996.

I don’t have confirmed numbers yet; should I still book?

Absolutely! We always recommend booking for your minimum confirmed players immediately. Because our dates are subject to availability, waiting for every person to reply can often mean missing out on your preferred session.

  • Lock in Your Mission: It is much safer to secure a slot for 10 confirmed players now than to wait for a larger number and find the centre is at capacity. Your date is only secured once a booking is made.
  • Scaling Your Group: You can add more players to your event as your group grows. Just contact our team a few days prior to the event, and we will add the extra participants to your mission profile, provided we have space.
  • Momentum: Once the booking is official, it becomes much easier to get final answers from the rest of your party!

Epic Pro-Tip: To ensure a smooth experience, book for your core group today. If you need to add more players later or check availability for a larger party, call our booking office on 0203 989 5996.

Is paintball safe for children and beginners?

Absolutely. Safety is the highest priority at Epic Paintball Events. We maintain a 100% safety record through our professional approach to protective gear and expert marshalling.

  • Premium Safety Gear: All players receive full-head goggle systems with ear protection and custom-designed body armour as standard to ensure a comfortable and safe experience.
  • Expert Marshalling: Our professional marshals supervise every mission, ensuring fair play and the strict enforcement of “no-fire” zones and safety protocols.
  • Beginner Friendly: Most of our players are first-timers! We provide a comprehensive safety briefing to all participants before gameplay begins.

MiniBall (Ages 7–10): Low-Impact Fun
Specifically designed for our youngest recruits, MiniBall allows children to enjoy the action with specialized equipment at all national locations:

  • Softer Hits: High-tech, spring-loaded markers ensure a much lighter impact suited for younger players.
  • Tailored Equipment: Smaller combat suits and lightweight gear designed specifically for children.
  • Unlimited Ammo: MiniBall sessions include unlimited ammunition, so the fun never stops!

Epic Pro-Tip: Safety is a team effort. If you have questions about your child’s first game or want to check availability at your nearest centre, call our booking team on 0203 989 5996.

Are EPIC tickets refundable?

Yes. Every Epic Paintball Events ticket is covered by a fourteen-day satisfaction guarantee to ensure you are happy with your purchase.

  • Refund Window: All refund requests must be submitted strictly within fourteen days of the original purchase date.
  • How to Apply: To process your request, please visit the Online Refund Authorisation page and follow the two-step process, which includes returning your physical ticket booklets.
  • Processing Time: Once your form is submitted and tickets are received, please allow up to 21 working days for the request to be completed.
  • Legal Binding: Once the fourteen-day cooling-off period has expired, the ticket terms constitute a legally binding contract, and we are unable to offer a refund.
  • Late Submissions: We reserve the right to return any items or decline requests where the initial refund application was received outside of the fourteen-day eligibility window.

Are there storage facilities at the centre?

To ensure your belongings are kept safe while you are on the field, we provide secure storage facilities at all of our national locations.
Maintaining the security of your gear allows you to focus entirely on the mission ahead.

Locker Hire
Lockers are available to hire for a small charge at each of our national paintball centres. These are specifically designed to hold personal items and valuables.

How to Hire
To secure a locker, please visit the on-site shop upon arrival to hire a key. We recommend doing this during the registration process to ensure you are ready for the safety briefing.

Valuables and Car Keys
We strongly recommend using these lockers to store your valuables, car keys, and any spare clothing. This keeps them clean, dry, and secure while you are active in the game zones.

Large Bags and Equipment
While we provide lockers for essentials, we suggest leaving large or non-essential items in your locked vehicle to ensure locker space remains available for all guests.

Can I bring my own paintball marker or equipment to the paintball centre?

While we provide industry-leading equipment, you are welcome to bring certain items of your own gear.
Please note that all personal equipment is subject to the final approval of the Centre Manager on the day to ensure it meets our strict safety standards.

  • Goggles: You may use your own goggles provided they are specifically designed for paintball, feature a full-face mask, and have not been modified. They must be in excellent condition to pass our safety inspection.
  • Paintball Markers (Guns): You may bring your own marker to our national centres only if you have booked a Private Game. The marker must be compatible with our gas bottles and will be subject to a mandatory chronograph test.
  • Gas Cylinders (Strict Policy): We do not allow customers to bring their own gas cylinders to any of our centres under any circumstances. This is a vital safety protocol to ensure the integrity of the equipment on-site.
  • Paintballs: For safety and insurance reasons, we operate a “Site-Only” paint policy. Only paintballs purchased at the centre may be used in our game zones.
  • Armoured Gloves: Many players prefer to bring their own armoured gloves for extra protection, though professional pairs are also available for purchase at our on-site shop.

Contact & Verification
If you have questions about specific gear, please contact our booking office on 0203 989 5996 to verify your equipment before you arrive.

Can I bring my own paintballs?

No. For health, safety, and environmental reasons, only paintballs issued by the paintball centre on the day of your event may be used.

  • Quality & Safety: We ensure our paintballs are fresh and stored correctly so they break on impact. Paintballs taken off-site cannot be brought back and used at a later date, as we cannot verify their storage conditions or safety once they leave our care.

  • Environmental Protection: We use only fully biodegradable paintballs to protect the local woodland ecosystems.

  • Banking Unused Paint: If you have paintballs left over at the end of your session, you don’t have to lose them! You can leave them with the Centre Manager, who will credit the remaining amount to your booking profile for use on your next visit.

Can I pay for my booking on the day?

No. To ensure a safe and organized experience, all bookings must be confirmed and paid for in advance.

  • Capacity: Each centre has a strict player limit, and we must confirm numbers prior to the event date.
  • Logistics: Advance payment allows us to organize essential equipment, game teams, and professional marshalling staff.
  • Catering: Please note that our locations do not offer pizza lunches or onsite catering, so advance arrangements for your own food are recommended.

Can my group play paintball mid-week?

Yes, mid-week games are available at most centres, provided that the minimum spending requirement is met.

  • Opening Requirements: If the minimum spend for a specific date is not reached, we are unable to open the centre mid-week.
  • Notification: You will be notified of these requirements at the time of your enquiry.
  • Alternatives: If your preferred date or venue is unavailable, our team will always offer an alternative location or date for your group.

Can parents or non-players watch the games?

Yes. While spectators are not permitted on the active game zones for safety reasons, we provide comfortable facilities for those not playing.

  • Base Camp Facilities: Our base camp features sheltered seating areas where parents and friends can relax throughout the day.
  • Meeting Players: Spectators can easily meet with players during scheduled breaks to catch up on the action.
  • Safety First: For the protection of all guests, non-players must remain within the designated base camp areas and are not authorised to enter the field of play.
  • Amenities: The base camp is designed to keep you comfortable and close to the excitement while maintaining a safe distance from the game.
